PAFS Specialism Project
Alongside the project for Sky Garden we were introduced to a second project within our specialism in Production Arts for Screen and it was quite an exciting one I felt motivated to dive into. The brief explained the importance of Prop design In film and tv that included live action, games and animation. We were expected to choose a film or tv show of our liking which held visual interest and had the potential to expand on with our imagination.

From the choice we make we were to design a prop in concept and technical drawing that would exist within the parameters of the world within these films. Furthermore we had to design the Concept Artwork for a set design by creating a location once again within the film that must be tied to the pre-existing themes by exploring them further. The third and final part of this submission was to Storyboard the location designed in our Concept Artwork in a minimum of 4-5 frames all of which had to be in the aspect ratio of the chosen film.

My film choice-
Stardust
Stardust was a film I had seen growing up with my sister and it always intrigued me as a child because of the fantasy world created that these characters inhabited. A major part of the film is that it is a journey. Tristan, the male lead is on a journey to find a fallen star and he crosses the border of his mortal town into the land of the supernatural. From the moment he encounters Yvaine, the star the both of them become passengers to this vast and strange landscape and come across various locations in the film.
